Ulatha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in English Education. Her diverse educational, athletic, and personal experiences have divinely prepared her for a purposefully ambitious life. Ulatha’s background and ongoing mission towards self-actualization, enable her to perceptively give back to her community through current roles such as an English teacher, Certified Youth Exercise Specialist, and of course as the Founder of the nonprofit organization, Goal Chasers Inc. As a first-generation college graduate, former athlete, and overcomer of countless challenges, Ulatha knows full well the importance of having core values and the spiritual fortitude required to thrive as a well-rounded individual.

The vision of Goal Chasers Inc. was birthed through Ulatha’s testimony of persevering toward her physical, mental, and spiritual goals. The purpose of Goal Chasers Inc.; to inspire, empower, and educate youth to reach their full potential is a direct product of Ulatha’s own journey and how her village was able to cultivate an environment that was conducive to her success. 

Many family members, teachers, coaches, ministers, and even strangers she encountered provided a moment of safe space that made a lasting impact and enabled her to envision a life in which she’d have the confidence and the foundational skills to be successful lifelong learner, leader, and change agent in her family and community despite any circumstance. 

She now commits her life to pouring into youth just as her village has done for her.
